Taronga Western Plains Zoo

The Education Centre at Taronga Western Plains Zoo - Dubbo, aims to help students develop a positive attitude towards animals, conservation and the environment. The Zoo offers a range of programs including day visit excursions, education workshops, the overnight ZooSnooz program as well as guided tours in the early morning or evening.  Education workshops are interactive enabling students to have a hands-on learning experience and encounter a wide variety of animals.

Education staff can also provide support for teachers when planning an excursion to the Zoo through lesson resources and information relating to the Zoo, environment and conservation.
