Financial Assistance Program
Parliament & Civics Education Rebate
The PACER is a funding rebate program provided by the Australian
Government benefiting students living further than 150 kilometres from
Canberra. To be eligible your school must:

Travel more than 150km to the National Capital.

Attend educational programs being offered by the National Capital Attractions, as outlined in the website.
- Visit The National Capital Educational Toursim Project website for the latest information on the guidelines, forms and the zones. www.ncetp.org.au
Along with this you are required to publish a letter in the school
newsletter acknowledging the Australian Government's assistance and
undertake a small project task on your return to school. It's that
simple!
A more detailed set of guidelines and an application form can be
obtained by contacting the National Capital Educational Tourism Project
on 02 6162 4460.
Currently funding is available for schools travelling up to 30 June
2010. The National Capital Educational Tourism Project is working on proposals to extend the rebate beyond
this date.
Thank-you so much for a fantastic camp, Snow/Canberra. It was extremely well organised and ran smoothly. The coach drivers were exceptional. The children had a ball and learnt a lot, they cannot wait for the next one!!!

Thank-you very much for providing us with an absolutely fantastic experience. The whole excursion was well planned and implemented. The people who were involved (coach driver and people at the accommodation) could not have done any more to assist us.
The children had a great time and the teachers were not under too much stress.

The excursion was a great success, especially due to the wonderful organisation done by Away We Go Tours.
We were really impressed by the food and accomodation. The bus drivers were wonderful, the timing accurate and the activities were excellent (this group had their excursion in Canberra).
We would love to book another excursion through you all.
